Saeco 21103 Royal Professional Fully Automatic Espresso Machine, Silver and Blue Review

Saeco 21103 Royal Professional Fully Automatic Espresso Machine, Silver and Blue
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Unlike the review below we've been lucky in that we've had no problems with our unit.
It's been exactly 3 years since we purchased our machine and we haven't looked back. The machine was bought as we were spending $40-50 a week at Starbucks. Now we use organic milk and beans and make our own latte's at home.
The machine is super easy to use. There are various settings for the grinding and dose of coffee. I just set the dose on max and change the grind depending on what beans I use. The machine gives you 3 sizes of coffee depending on what you want. The steam wand works well but can only be used after coffee dispensing is finished. It takes 15-25sec for the steam wand to really start.. steaming. The cappuchinore on my machine doesn't work but I only tried to use it after we had the machine for 2 years so I'm not bothered too much. I also have the direct water connection to my reverse osmosis system. So I haven't had to de-scale yet and might never need to.
Another useful item is the rinsing cycle where the machine runs hot water through itself for 10mins. At the end you get to see how much "dirt" was cleaned out. Quite satisfying :)
The machine also has some idiot proof features. One is when you put in pre-ground coffee but then press the coffee button instead of the pre-ground button first. The machine makes some funky noises but then dumps everything out. I'm not proud to say I've done this more than once....
Overall through it's the best $$$ I've ever spent and would highly recommend this machine. It might not be the cheapest (or most expensive!) but you get what you pay for!
p.s. the coffee is amazing!!!!!!!!!

Saeco Xelsis SS Automatic Espresso Machine, Stainless Steel Review

Saeco Xelsis SS Automatic Espresso Machine, Stainless Steel
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have (now you can say had!!) the Saeco Primea Touch Plus. I mainly make cappucinos. With the Primea, I had issues with the milk temperature (too cold) and no milk foam. Also, the cleanup was a pain.
I decided to try the Xelsis and I am glad that I did. So far I have had the machine for about two weeks and it is a winner. The milk comes out hot and the foam is perfect (looks like micro-foam done by a wand). It is easy to maintain and has worked flawless. The only negative is that the drip tray is kind of small but is it very quick and easy to empty. If you are looking for a quick and easy cappucino this machine is for you.

La Pavoni Professional PBB-16 Espresso Machine Black Base Review

La Pavoni Professional PBB-16 Espresso Machine Black Base
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is my fourth espresso machine. I bought it after the La Pavoni "Carina" (that I bought from Zabars) started to get unreliable, and I decided I'd rather replace it than to put more money into the Carina ... and still face a week or two of drip coffee.
While it is amusing how very little different the Professional and the 'Toy' models look, there is a big difference in performance. The Carina takes a very long time to heat up; this Carina Grande (which is what La Pavoni calls this black-base Professional model) takes five minutes. The Carina generates more steam pressure than a cheap automatic espresso machine, but the Carina Grande generates more steam pressure than the Carina. The result is that I get a better cup of espresso, with less need to plan ahead.
The machine is a little quirky. When you turn it on, it vents a bit of steam from the over-pressure valve before it makes a thtip sound and the pressure starts mounting. It's not very consistent about how long it will vent. If the water level is much below half-full, it may keep venting and not start building pressure.
I think the bottom line with La Pavoni is you get a really gorgeous Chrome Peacock that makes truly great espresso, but the workmanship is a bit uneven and you certainly shouldn't expect Japanese-car levels of reliability.

Breville Barista Express BES860XL machine with grinder Review

Breville Barista Express BES860XL machine with grinder
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I spent my Christmas 2009 reviewing expresso machines. I had just returned from a trip to Europe and finally was going to fold and get an expresso machine. I missed the expresso from Italy and France. 1oz of crema delight.
So, I liked the Breville from all the reviews but was worried about some of the negativity on the "wet puck" I had read. All the reviews mentioned excellent coffee though, so it was on my short list.
Then I saw the Breville BES860XL, also known as the Barista Express Programmable Expresso. From the looks you can tell this unit has exchanged the hot water dispenser for a bean grinder. This unit is a fully automatic expresso machine with the super automatic feature of grinding a pre-measure of beans for your brew. Note, it is not a super automatic machine as you still need to manually mount the portafilter into the group head, and clean the filter afterwards. This is as automatic as you will want to go if you want to really control your coffee.
But, let me walk you through the pleasure:
1. the box. this has excellent graphics -- even as you open, the getting started guide and pictures guide you along. The unit removes easily.
2. The tamper is magnetically held in place on the front of the machine -- you can use it in place or remove for manual tamping.
3. New: -there is a dry puck feature now for all the fussy reviews -- this removes excess water so you get, a dry puck
- an excellent burr grinder -- you can dismantle this for cleaning, and it has a wide range of control
- for those that previously complained about the "cheat" dual wall filters -- the unit comes with single and double dual wall AND single wall filters
- there is a hideaway storage tray to hold all the small goodies
4. Steaming -- excellent steam temperature and pressure -- works very well with the provided frothing jug, very minimal excess water to start
5. The real test. I am using the dual wall filters, and the Illy whole expresso beans I got from Italy were made into pure heavenly expresso. Nice crema. This is the real thing.
This is one finely engineered machine. From a mechanically inclined electrical engineer to the folks at Breville: you have created an exceptionally functional piece that does the job. Did I mention it is beautiful on the counter as well? I have it on an island, no bad sides.
Drawbacks: none. BUT, when making a real expresso shot, make sure you pre-warm your demitasse. Otherwise the expresso will heat up your cup and your coffee will not be hot. I run a water cycle first into my cup to heat up the group head and the cup.
In my opinion this is the best buy in the market under $1500. At the office, daily I use a super automatic machine that is at that top end.

Krups XP1020 750-Watt Steam Espresso Machine with 4-Cup Glass Carafe Review

Krups XP1020 750-Watt Steam Espresso Machine with 4-Cup Glass Carafe
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I just got one of these for Christmas to replace a similar unit I used for years. The first time I tried it, it spewed water and coffee grounds all over. It practically blew up! I reduced the amount of coffee (a good Italian espresso, pre-ground fine), and the same thing happened. According to the trouble-shooting guide, the grind was too fine. I tried a coarse grind with no blowups, but the coffee was wimpy. Apparently, this espresso machine wasn't meant to make espresso coffee. This never happened with my previous unit. Pass this one up. It is simply a piece of junk.

Jura-Capresso 13423 Impressa S9 One Touch Automatic Coffee-and-Espresso Center, Platinum Review

Jura-Capresso 13423 Impressa S9 One Touch Automatic Coffee-and-Espresso Center, Platinum
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We've had the S9 for over 5 years now. The customer service is pretty good when you have a maintenance question. Makes the most of a good coffee bean by ensuring you get a hot espresso with a lot of real crema. Use strong non-oily beans for the best coffee in the world. Brands I have used include Intelligentsia, Lutz, Kimbo, Lavazza, and other good espresso beans. What I really like about this machine is you can make other coffee (in addition to the beans you have loaded in the machine). It has a one button function to override the beans you already have loaded and lets you add grounds to a compartment at the front of the machine. For example, I have Dunkin Donuts decaf grounds on hand for folks that want a decaf coffee. I also have decaf espresso grounds.
Keep up with the maintenance on this machine and it will take care of you. It's pricey, so just keep up with the maintenance to get your money's worth. The machine will let you know when it's time to change the water filter, clean using the tablets, and de-calcify.
After having a coffee from this machine, we never go to Starbucks or any other coffee shop for coffee. There stuff will not compete. Maybe over 5 years, we broke even on this machine by the $$ we saved by not spending 4-5 bucks on double lattes. Good luck with your choice.

Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Espresso/ Cappuccino Maker Review

Mr. Coffee ECMP50 Espresso/ Cappuccino Maker
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Like most who purchased this product, it was my first espresso maker. And I found out quickly that hunting for these things can be overwhelming! I purchased it at my local Target for $79.99 for convenience in case I had to return it -- with all of the mixed reviews out there, I was incredibly weary of choosing one! However, I will most likely not need to do so. It is perfect for all of my needs!
PROS:
1. Incredibly easy to use! Directions and trouble-shooting pages in manual are simple and helpful.
2. Compact size, looks nice sitting on the counter.
3. Easy clean-up. All parts that need to be cleaned detach easily.
4. A standard sized coffee cup will fit under the spout -- not so with many models!
5. The steam feature is simple, fairly powerful, and works well. No problems here.
6. As long as you get a good batch of coffee grounds, this machine can turn it into delicious espresso!
CONS:
1. I have been experiencing a small leak onto my counter after use. I haven't caught it in the act yet, but if I return to the kitchen a few hours later, there is a wet spot near the machine. I read another review that mentioned the same thing, so it might be a universal issue with this product. However, it is a small leak, and not enought to cause a real problem in my opinion.
2. I would suggest making 2-3 cups before wasting any milk product on your first trial. This model does not have an automatic drip feature and you will need to manually tell it when to stop pouring. If you are not used to this, you might end up with a few nasty batches on your first try. No biggie. Just watch the color of the drip. It starts out as a medium brown, and changes to a much lighter brown if left alone. I would recommend shutting it off a second or so after it changes to the lighter brown. I have made perfect batches every time by this method. This all takes place over several seconds, so keep an eye out.
YOU MIGHT NEED TO KNOW:
It mentions this in the manual, but make sure to get the right size of grounds. About the consistency of salt. I would recommend griding your own either at home with a grinder or at the store at a grinding station. They taste better for one, and you won't waste your money on a mystery bag that doesn't work well with your machine.
Also, it does not come with a frothing pitcher. You will need to buy one separately. I purchased mine at Bed Bath and Beyond -- a Krups one, stainless, about $10? It fits fine. Just make sure you don't get one that is too deep, or the froth wand will not reach the milk. It is a countertop model after all. If you don't want to use as much milk you can turn the pitcher at an angle.
That's it! Definitely more pros than cons. I feel that for the price I paid, I could not have hoped for a better quality machine. I would highly recommend this model if you want something easy and you don't require tons of frills. If you want something more frilly, go ahead and spend $300 to $3000 on one. But I purchased an espresso maker to SAVE time and money (so long, Starbucks!), and this one's just right for me!

Nespresso Citiz Single C110 US Review

Nespresso Citiz Single C110 US
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Wow! Lived in Europe for many years and enjoyed the coffee everyday. Since returning, it's been difficult to find the right machine, coffee, grind, etc., with a busy life. After an extended stay in Switzerland several years ago and running into this machine at many friend's homes and in the cities, it seemed like a great way to enjoy really good espresso at home.
This coffee machine meets all expectations for taste, convenience, design, cost, and even sustainability, if you believe the literature. It's also a very aesthetic experience. After buying the machine locally, we ordered pods through the Nespresso Club. They came beautifully packaged with a nice storage box. The colors of the pods are quite lovely, the included book was fascinating with appealing illustrations, and it is very sweetly translated. The machine works like a dream, and the coffee tastes great. Not to mention the tiny footprint of the coffee maker on the countertop. Very enthusiastic about this coffee maker. Forget Starbucks with it's syrups and sugar that covers up the taste of inferior coffee. Just go Nespresso for wonderful fresh, high-quality coffee at home that's certainly much cheaper in the long run!

Saeco 658 Odea Giro 15-Bar-Pump Automatic Espresso Machine Review

Saeco 658 Odea Giro 15-Bar-Pump Automatic Espresso Machine
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Seeking the perfect 'superautomatic' espresso machine, we bought this model a little over 2 years ago. Worked fine for a while. Coffee quality good, nice frothing. Then, after about year, it began to leak water from beneath. When this got to the point of flooding the counter, we sought service. Nearest Saeco-registered service center (and the only one in Missouri) was 100 miles away. Dropped it off, left the required $75 deposit. It took the service shop a NINE MONTHS to receive parts. And, it turns out, not all the parts were sent. Service bill: $200 (1/3 the cost of the machine)ON WARRANY. After another 200 mile round trip, it was back in the kitchen. It lasted 2 weeks, and completely stopped functioning. Among other things, the frothing stopped working That's all for this SAECO. "Superautomatic" sounds too good to be true, and it is.
Advice:
1) don't buy SAECO machines
2) don't buy any machine lacking reviews after at least a year of use. Read a lot of reviews and you'll see that this kind of breakdown is very common among all brands of superautomatics.
3) get up early enough to make a cup of coffee yourself.
We're back to our totally reliable, unbreakable, Mukka Express.

Equipped with 15 bars of pump pressure, this 1500-watt automatic espresso machine makes it effortless to enjoy cafe-quality beverages from the comfort of home. It features an innovative control dial and large buttons for easily customizing the aroma and amount of coffee in the cup and for choosing between one or two cups simultaneously; alert lights to the left of the dial provide clear, instant details for each function. The appliance also provides a patented removable brew group that allows the machine to tamp, brew, and dispense coffee in one cycle (remove the brew group for quick rinsing and chemical-free cleaning). In addition, its built-in ceramic grinder ensures the best results without altering the flavor of coffee. The grinder delivers a more even grind for perfect dosing and blending, which means more control over the density and body of coffee--plus substantially reduces the amount of coffee residue in the cup. Even more, the espresso machine's Rapid Steam technology reduces the normal waiting time between brewing coffee and steam output to just a few seconds. A separate heat exchange for steam delivers fast and continuous steam pressure for creating a creamy milk froth in no time. The included Pannarello frothing device dispenses steam in three different directions and makes it simple to froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes or to dispense hot water for Americanos, tea, and hot chocolate. Additional highlights include a stainless-steel boiler, a 180-gram-capacity bean container, an OptiDose adjustable doser (7 to 10-1/2 grams), a removable 1-1/2-liter water tank, a Brita water filter, a large cup-stacking surface that can hold up to six espresso cups at a time, and an adjustable-height drip tray that can be raised or lowered to accommodate a wide range of cup sizes. For added convenience, the unit's Energy Safe mode kicks in when the machine sits idle (choose Stand-By mode for enhanced energy savings). Durably housed in ABS plastic with an ultra-sleek and stylish design, the espresso machine measures 15 by 11-1/2 by 14-1/2 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

Saeco Xelsis Digital ID Automatic Espresso Machine Review

Saeco Xelsis Digital ID Automatic Espresso Machine
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Let me start by saying this machine is AWESOME. It's so easy to use, and so easy to customize, that everyone here at home is now a coffee (espresso) addict!!!
Pros:
- Amazingly easy to use. Push one button and it'll make your preferred beverage.
- It comes with a milk carafe that's sealable, so you can keep it filled in the fridge
- When you want it, just pick the carafe and attach to the machine. It'll then automatically make your cafe latte, latte machiatto or whatever beverage you prefer...
- You can customize everything. I like a strong espresso, but when drinking a machiatto I only want foam, not milk. It can do that.
- Stainless steel, so it's pretty sturdy. No easy to break plastic parts here.
- It looks great!!!
- It cleans itself (including the milk carafe) so you never get that "old coffee" taste
- It has a separate slot for ground coffee, so my GF can make her decaf at night!
Cons:
- Water tank could be bigger
- It has a drip tray, but it gets full kinda quickly. No biggie since it's easy to empty it though
Overall, it's a GREAT machine. The ease to use makes drinking espresso and lattes a breeze. The fingerprint Id reader is a nice feature, but not a must in my opinion. It's very sturdy and very easy to clean!

Capresso frothPRO Review

Capresso frothPRO
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was worried to buy this because there were no reviews on it yet. I used it today for the first time and I could not be more happy with it. It says not to fill milk past the froth indicator line inside the pitcher, I know why now. It creates the most thick rich froth that you can imagine all the way to the top of the pitcher. After you pour the heated milk out (which by the way is heated to 150 degrees checked with thermometer)you will have to spoon out the froth because it is so thick. I gave it 5 stars because it does exactly what it describes it will do. The only thing negative that I could possibly say is that I do think that steamed milk and froth is sweeter in flavor than just heated milk and froth. I make caramel macchiatos at least twice a day for my wife and myself so we do a lot of frothing. This frother will make this super thick froth in around 2 min or so and then automatically shuts off - too cool. I wait till it shuts off and then hit the espresso button on our espresso machine and then pour the heated milk, add the espresso and top with that thick froth - decorate with the caramel and kick back. I thought at first this was going to be an expensive learning adventure but now I am very happy to have bought it. It also will make thick heated and frothed hot chocolate.

Saeco Incanto Deluxe Automatic Espresso Machine, Stanless Steel Review

Saeco Incanto Deluxe Automatic Espresso Machine, Stanless Steel
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got this thing 4 days ago when Costco had it on sale. Awesome coffee, whether you just want an Espresso, Latte, Cappucino, or a regular coffee. Easy to use. Not too noisy when grinding, tons of options to program. So, all in all, seems like a great machine. But...I have to say I already had to use their manual pump twice to "ventilate" the system (charging the circuit with water). It is supposed to do this once when installing, and then after a long time of not being in use. Well, I already had to do it twice within 4 days. Worse, it did not do it automatically, so I had to use this 20 cent hand pump that does not properly fit. It's ridiculous, this is a $1,200 machine. I really love the coffee, so I want to believe in it, but if this happens a few more times, I will check with customer service, and if this does not stop I will send it back and get a manual 15 bar one without so much electronic. Too bad though, coffee is really great.

Jura-Capresso 13548 Impressa J6 Automatic Coffee and Espresso Center Review

Jura-Capresso 13548 Impressa J6 Automatic Coffee and Espresso Center
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Due to the high price I checked many reviews on many sites and most brands had specific problems or limitations. The Jura was consistently rated highly with few problems. When spending $1500+ I didn't want a machine that was going to break down after a few months. I have now had this machine for about 6 months and have had no problems except a minor one explained below.
First the good
Very easy set up. I was up and going in about 30 minutes after opening the box and making sure all the parts and pieces were included.
The machine is pretty idiot proof. It tells you when to add water, when to add coffee beans, when to run the cleaning cycle, when to decalcify, and when to dispose the used grounds. The burr grinder is fairly quiet and has run without clogging. You do have to be careful not to use beans that are too oily but if they are all you have to do is let them sit for about 5 hours before using. The water capacity is very adequate at 70 oz. The bean hopper holds about 1/4 lb of beans so you don't have to keep adding. There is no way to empty beans to add a different type, however there is a place for ground beans if someone want a different type. I like that you can change the height of the two nozzles for different height mugs and being able to separate the nozzles for brewing two cups at the same time. Cleaning is a snap. Just slide out the empty grounds tray, rinse and replace.
I like that you customize each button on the face of the machine (see below) and you can easily override how much coffee or water you use for a single use without losing the programmed amount.
Finally customer service, something important for such an expensive machine. When I registered the machine on line (and you have to do this in 2 weeks to get the warranty) I mistyped the serial number. The next day I got an email informing me of my error. Nice. Also, my mother got one of these for my father and one of the nozzles was not working properly. He called them up and they told him what to do. The nozzle was blocked and just needed to be wiped clean. My parents have well water that they bi-pass to some of their faucets. The machine comes with one water test strip to test for water hardness. When he called he asked them to send a few more and they did. Not that big a deal for them, but they did it.
Next the okay
The six buttons on the face of the machine for water, steam, 1 or 2 cups of espresso and 1 or 2 cups of coffee, are very easy. Not so easy is using the buttons on the top of the machine. These buttons work like folders on a computer and it is easy to forget where you are. These buttons are used to "customize" what comes out (heat, strength, amount per cup, language, auto on and off).
Every time you turn the machine on you need to rinse the nozzles (push a button and it runs about 1 oz of hot water through the nozzles), this is okay but you have to do it even if you just used hot water the last time. The full cleaning cycle is based on the number of rinses so if you use the machine for hot water you will end up using the cleaning cycle more than necessary. The machine also automatically rinses when it goes into sleep mode so I put a shot glass under the nozzles after use. Not a big deal, if I forget the water goes into a collection tray.
Finally the bad
There are two ways to make steam and froth. Without going into details, one of these is an attachment that doesn't stay on very well due to the high pressure of the steam. When it comes off steam sprays all over until you push the steam button again. This happened to me a few times and while it did not burn me, it is quite a surprise. I just do it the other wayOverall a positive experience and I would recommend to family and friend.

The machine comes equipped with a quiet, commercial-quality, solid-steel conical burr grinder with six fineness settings for any type bean; a high-performance 15-bar pump for high-pressure brewing and perfect crema; and a fast-heating 1450-watt stainless-steel-lined Thermoblock water-heating system, which means it can produce one cup after another with no downtime in between and no old-water purging necessary--remaining water gets discharged automatically and each batch starts with fresh, cold water. Even more, the machine delivers unlimited amounts of steam to heat and froth milk, and it comes standard with two interchangeable frother systems: Dual Frother Plus for traditional (manual) frothing and steaming with two settings for steaming only (latte) and frothing (cappuccino), and a frothXpress automatic frothing system, which siphons cold milk, combines it with steam, and delivers any amount of frothed/steamed milk directly into cups.
The user-friendly appliance offers not only powerful performance, but also a simple, elegant design with easy-to-use controls. Its front ring-shaped panel includes six pre-programmed one-touch beverage buttons for one espresso, two espressos, one coffee, two coffees, hot water, and steam. Pushing the integrated rotary button allows for entering 11 different programming options. Use the rotary dial to over-ride the strength and cup size while brewing (with no effect on the pre-programmed settings). There are four coffee strengths for the one-cup buttons, two coffee temperatures, three hot-water output temperatures, 1/2-ounce to 8-ounce cup sizes for the single-cup coffee buttons, 1/2-ounce to 8-ounce cup sizes for the double-cup coffee buttons (total of up to 16 ounces of coffee), 1/2-ounce to 15-ounce cup sizes for the hot-water button, and 2 to 120 seconds for the steam button. All functions and settings can be clearly viewed in the alpha-numeric LED display.
Though compact in size, the unit provides a large 71-ounce removable water container (good for up to 45 espressos) and a 9-ounce (250-gram) bean container with an electronic sensor to prevent running out of beans. Other highlights include a pre-ground coffee funnel function that automatically overrides the grinder (ideal for decaf or flavored coffee), a two step pre-infusion cycle for maximum aroma, ceramic valve technology for hotter coffee and more crema in the cup, height- and width-adjustable dual coffee spouts (Butterfly design), a Clearyl water-filter system, and a concealed storage compartment. Accessories include a measuring scoop, cleaning tablets, a Clearyl filter, and a water-hardness indicator strip. Housed in elegant Piano Black with a heavy-duty chrome platform and small footprint, the coffee and espresso center measures 16-1/2 by 11 by 13-1/4 inches and carries a two-year limited warranty.

Saeco Focus Automatic Espresso Machine Review

Saeco Focus Automatic Espresso Machine
Average Reviews:

This review applies to the steel version as well, except for the aesthetics. The design and layout of this machine has been well-thought out by Saeco. I had a difficult time choosing between the steel and the black version, and ultimately chose the latter because I preferred the contrast of the black and chrome (and it matches my decor better). The set-up of the machine is a bit confusing because there is a small insert paper with instructions that slightly conflicts with the full manual. Perhaps the translation from the original Italian is not entirely accurate. The insert indicated that the supplied intenza water filter must be installed - but this is optional and is not supplied with the machine. So don't waste your time looking for it. Once it is up & running, familiarizing oneself with the meaning of the icons on the LCD is important. Thankfully, Saeco designed the machine with access to the water tank in the front. The spent grounds compartment is also in the front and the beans go in the top. This is important for a compact machine as the potential buyer probably has size restrictions. Some superautos, like the Jura Ena 3/5 have the water tank attach to the back and the Gaggia Platinum I considered has side access. The draw of a superauto is the ability to go from bean to cup with one machine at the push of a button. In this regard, the Syntia performs very well. The bean hopper and water reservoir are small, but if you want any compact machine then this obviously is necessary to retain a small footprint. The espresso the machine produces is quite nice. I choose the strongest setting (3 bean icon) for a dark espresso. I also prefer to produce a double (click twice) rather than a long coffee for a cappuccino so it is not watered down. The machine grinds & brews twice in quick succession when double clicking. I would prefer a more solid feeling (seems to be part steel & part plastic at the top) however it does a surprisingly good job at foaming milk for cappuccino. The foam I've produced is slightly too stiff & aery - but I think it is more a technique issue at this point. Hopefully with practice I'll get just the right consistency between airy & dense. It is also excellent for steaming hot chocolate, Italian style. Just toss in your preferred hot chocolate mix with some added chocolate and a little milk and steam it until all is melted. Go bitter and serve it with some sugar on the side to taste. Clean-up is a breeze. The tray pops out easily. The top comes off via a magnet and you can rinse it in the sink. The water & spent grounds reservoirs pop out from the front easily for rinsing. Wiping down the machine is not a problem. Overall, I've been very pleased with this small machine. It is very easy for anyone to use and you can get great results without much effort.

Jura-Capresso Impressa F9 Fully Automatic Coffee and Espresso Center Review

This machine is excellent. Produces above average espresso on every shot. Foams milk well too.
I was an early buyer of this machine, and 8,513 shots later (yes it counts them), I know it is an excellent value.
I also would comment that the customer service is excellent. Sent in the machine once, and for $100.00 received a complete overhaul. (Sent in for a pump leak after a house move.) Came back like new, on time, and they paid for the return shipping. Can't ask for much more.
I will buy another super auto, from Jura/Capresso, when the time comes for a new machine. It might be many years from now...

Jura-Capresso ENA3 Automatic Coffee and Espresso Center, All White Review

Jura-Capresso ENA3 Automatic Coffee and Espresso Center, All White

... when I looked at the price of these coffee machines, but I am so pleased that I made the leap. It's an expensive luxury, but we've come to feel it's a "must have" if really good coffee is of importance to you. We had had a Capresso coffee machine to make lattes and other treats, so I was familiar with the brand. That gave me the confidence to trust that Jura-Capresso made a machine that might be worth the investment. And boy, are we thrilled!! The coffee is dependably wonderful every time. We don't throw out the last half of a pot nor do we feel compelled to keep drinking just to finish that pot. Each cup is made hot and fresh every time. While it may be pricey, we recommend it. If you need just a little encouragement to switch to such a machine... Go for it!
